We did our homework!
For a given precipitator casing, collecting plate area can be reduced by increasing the plate-to-plate spacing
while maintaining the collection efficiency. Our proven, rigid electrode precipitator design is available in both standard 12 inch and 16 inch
plate spacing. The wide spacing design is backed by extensive development, commercial
scale operating experience and the excellent adaptability to retrofit.

Our
rigid electrode precipitator design is
proven in units installed worldwide. The
same design is applied for 16 inch spacing
with electrical clearances increased between
emitting and collecting system support
members and larger insulators provided to
accommodate the higher voltage levels. The
excellent distribution of collecting plate
rapping acceleration and superior
voltage-current characteristics of the
twisted bar rigid electrode (key features of
the design) are maintained with 16 inch wide
spacing.
Considering the application, wide spacing
technology can be a viable, cost effective
option for retrofit or new ESP applications. |
